Clayton Methodist Church, a congregation of the Global Methodist Church in Clayton, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Director of Children’s Ministries.

We are a growing, multi-generational church family offering both traditional and contemporary worship. Our heart is to help children grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience the love of Jesus in a safe and welcoming environment.

This role is an opportunity to invest in the lives of children from birth through fifth grade and partner with families as they grow in faith together.

The Director of Children’s Ministries will:

• Lead and support children’s ministry programs on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, Vacation Bible School, and seasonal events
• Recruit, equip, and encourage a team of volunteers
• Develop or select Christ-centered curriculum that is engaging and age-appropriate
• Build meaningful relationships with children and their families
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and spiritually nurturing environment
• Support the continued growth of our children’s ministry

We are seeking someone who:

• Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and lives out their faith in daily life
• Has a heart for children and a passion for helping them grow in their faith
• Has experience in ministry, education, or child development
• Is able to lead, organize, and communicate effectively
• Works well with both children and adults in a team environment
