Holy Week at Clayton Methodist Church

Holy Week is the heart of our faith journey. Together we remember the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, reflect on His suffering, and celebrate His resurrection and victory over sin and death.

From quiet reflection to joyful celebration, we invite you to walk with us through the story of redemption. Whether you have been part of our church family for years or are exploring faith for the first time, this is a meaningful week to worship together and grow in faith.

During our Stations of the Cross service, we will journey prayerfully through the final hours of Jesus’ life. Through Scripture readings, guided reflection, and quiet prayer, we will pause at each station to consider the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

This is a contemplative service designed to help you reflect personally on the cross and prepare your heart for Easter.

As the sun rises, we gather to celebrate the risen Lord.

Our Easter Sunrise Service is a beautiful and simple time of worship as we proclaim the good news that Jesus is alive. In the early morning light, we remember the empty tomb and rejoice in the hope of new life.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and begin Easter morning centered on the victory of Christ.

We offer two worship experiences on Easter Sunday. Our Traditional Service is at 9 am and our Contemporary Service is at 10:30 am.

One reflects the rich heritage of our faith through beloved hymns and traditional liturgy. The other offers vibrant contemporary worship with modern praise and a message that connects faith to everyday life. While the styles differ, the heart is the same. We worship the same risen Savior and celebrate the same life-changing truth.
